What makes us different from others is our tallow. It’s locally sourced from Wachholz Family Farm in Montello, WI—a small ethical farm where every cow is known by name, no ear tags! These cows are grass-fed, always grazing freely in the sunshine, and treated with the utmost love and care!
Everyday skincare products are often packed with 20 or more chemicals that most people can’t even pronounce. Without realizing it, people put these chemicals on their own skin and their children’s skin. Many of these products also come from animal testing or sources that aren’t ethical or humane. I, Emma, struggled with acne for as long as I can remember. I tried everything—countless skincare products and even visits to dermatologists—but nothing worked. Changing my lifestyle to Carnivore was so transformative—in just a matter of weeks my skin started to clear! At the same time, I was learning how important it is not only what you put in your body but also what you put on your body, and that’s when I discovered beef tallow!
A lot of people, when they first hear “beef tallow,” think eww! But beef tallow has been used for centuries and has so many benefits! I slather the unscented tallow on my face before bed and wake up with my skin glowing! In the morning, I put a little on (a little goes a long way or it can feel greasy). Personally, I absolutely love the vanilla whip tallow! I use it every day—it smells so delicious and makes my skin glowing and hydrated!
Katie and I are so excited to keep growing Compassionate Carnivore! Eventually, we hope to expand beyond skincare into everyday essentials like toothpaste, deodorant, sunscreen, and more—all 100% natural and ethically made!
